Michael  broadcasts regularly on Irish Country Music Radio, Ireland’s number one Country Music internet radio station (www.irishcountrymusicradio.com), from its Co Mayo studio facility. Michael’s programmes attract not only a substantial listenership around Ireland but also a large following throughout the Irish Diaspora notably in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

 Prior to moving to Irish Country Music Radio Michael hosted for a number of years popular music and general interest programmes on MidWest Irish Radio and Community Radio Castlebar.

 Michael is also a prolific writer of stories embracing Irish history and heritage, nostalgic, rural and general topics, and is published regularly in Irish magazines and journals.
